A seed extract of Silybum marianum standardised to 80% silymarin by HPLC — the grade most U.S. liver-support products are formulated around. Silymarin is a defined group of flavonolignans, so the assay method matters: we report silymarin and silybin separately so your label claim can be traced to a number.

Questions buyers ask about this product
Why does the silymarin assay method matter?
Silymarin is a family of flavonolignans, and different analytical methods give different numbers for the same powder. A UV-based figure can read higher than an HPLC figure. We standardise and report by HPLC, and we report silybin separately, so your label claim can be substantiated if a customer or a regulator asks.
Do you offer a water-soluble grade?
Yes. A water-dispersible silymarin 20% grade is available for beverage and stick-pack applications where the standard 80% powder would not disperse.
Are solvent residues declared?
Yes. Ethyl acetate or ethanol residues are tested against ICH Q3C limits and the actual figure is printed on the COA, which is something a lot of suppliers leave off.
Can you supply smaller quantities for a pilot run?
Yes, we can quote 5 kg and 10 kg pilot quantities before you commit to a full 1 kg pack. Pricing per kilogram is higher at pilot volume and is confirmed in the quotation.
